CUMBERLAND GAP, TN (WLAF) – The Lady Cougar Soccer team took the short drive to play Cumberland Gap Thursday evening. See Amber Cowell’s photo gallery HERE.

It was a long night for the Cougars as the Panthers found great success.  The ball just wouldn’t go into the goal for the Cougars becoming almost comical by the end of the match as it seemed to hit every part of the goal except the net.

Campbell’s Zaylyn Ivey battles for the ball in a very physical match against Cumberland Gap.

Cheyenne Davis scored off a penalty kick and Sage Elwin was able to score off a corner kick, both goals came late in the second half.  The Cougars ultimately lost 9-2.

The next game for the Cougars comes Saturday at home against the Oneida Indians at 10am. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 10/01/2021-6AM)
