LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Members of the Campbell County Veterans Day Parade Committee announced this morning that the 2021 Veterans Day Parade is canceled.
“Due to an increase in COVID cases in our community, our committee has decided not to have a Veterans Parade this year for the safety of our Veterans and the community,” stated in a letter from the committee.
The Veterans Day Committee expresses its appreciation for all of the donations that have been made for the 2021 parade. All donations will be retained and utilized for the parade next year according to the committee’s letter. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 09/29/2021-11AM)
