V April 13, 1930.  When she was younger, she lived in Arthurdale W.V., a small community developed by Eleanor Roosevelt in 1934.  The community had their own schools, post office, grocery store, gas station and health clinic.  Her beloved husband (Buddy) passed away September 18, 1997.  They were owners of Four-Leaf Coal Company, a surface mine located in Clairfield, TN.  The company was formed in the early 50’s, a well-established business creating jobs for the surrounding area.  United Mine Workers closed the mine down and left the employees jobless.  After Mr. Dipple’s death from cancer the company ceased operations.  Mr. Dippel served in the Air Force during World War II.  Governor Winfield Dunn appointed him to The Board of Reclamation Review, June 1972 to June 1, 1973.  Mrs. Dippel was presented the 4-H Silver Clover Award in recognition of five years of 4-H Club Leadership in Jellico.  Her daughter Shawnee and son Chris, Jr. both won 4-H National Scholarships; her son Marty won the State Competition.  The Lord gave her many blessings in her long life; good parents, loving husband and children whom she was so proud of.  Preceded in death by parents, Relda Marie Zinn and Martin Luther Zinn and one brother, Gerald Clifford Zinn.
