LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – The call of a wreck with injury came in to Central Dispatch just after 8:30am Friday morning.

Officials with the Tennessee Highway Patrol detail that 28-year old Brandon Smith of La Follette was traveling toward La Follette (west bound) on Cedar Creek Road, near the bridge, when he lost control of his 2015 Jeep Wrangler. The Jeep left the roadway, impacted a ditch and overturned.

Smith was not wearing a seat belt, according to the report, and was ejected from the Jeep. The vehicle came to an uncontrolled final rest facing east in the ditch. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 09/10/2021-2:30PM)
