LAFOLLETTE, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF) – The Children’s Centers of the Eighth Judicial District hosts its 6th Annual Clays for Children Sporting Clays Tournament at Chilhowee Sportsman’s Club in Maryville on Friday, Sept. 24. 

Funds raised from this tournament will ensure that the Children’s Centers continue their worthy mission of serving abused and neglected children. 

The annual Clays for Children Sporting Clays Tournament is at Chilhowee Sportsman’s Club in Maryville on Friday, Sept. 24.

This is a 100 shot competition where shooters participate in teams of four in either a morning or afternoon flight.  There are a few team spots still available. Organizations can support Clays for Children as a non-shooter, station sponsorships are available or businesses can donate items to be auctioned during the event.  Additionally, there are volunteer opportunities available the day of the event.
