Sondra Raines, age 79, of Caryville passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2021. She was a member of Midway Baptist Church, retired after 30 years of service in Campbell County School System having taught at Stoney Fork and Jacksboro Elementary for 30 years. Preceded in death by parents Walter and Bertie Martin Gross.

Family will receive friends 5-7 PM Friday Cross-Smith Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 7 PM Cross-Smith Chapel, Rev. J. J. Patterson officiating. Family and friends will meet 10 AM, Saturday at Cross-Smith Funeral Home and proceed to Cumberland View Cemetery for 11 AM Interment.
