JELLICO, TN (WLAF) – Twenty-eight year old Valerie Joann Long of Oak Street, Jacksboro, did not heed a deputy’s previous warnings and ended up in jail as a result.

Last Saturday, Campbell County Sheriff’s Deputies Raymond Surber and Thomas were on routine patrol in Jellico around the B Towers on Broad Street when they noticed Long, who was trespassed from the property.

According to the report from the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office, Surber had given Long several warnings on two previous occasions over the past two days.

The unemployed Long was placed under arrest for the 23rd time based on jail records. This latest charge was for criminal trespassing. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 09/02/2021-6AM)
