LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – The man most, if not everyone in town, knew, Rev. Eugene Wells passed away on Sunday after a brief illness.

Eugene Wells, along with his brother, Terry, was a part of the fabric of Downtown La Follette with his ministry either in person or on WLAF radio. Terry passed away in the spring of 2020. Since, Eugene carried on the brothers weekly radio broadcast heard over WLAF until his recent illness.

During the few weeks Eugene was trying to overcome his latest health challenges, there was someone somewhere here in town always asking how he was doing. He touched a lot of lives from all walks of life.
