Dennie Gibson, age 64, of Caryville passed away Monday, August 23, 2021, at Tennova North Knoxville Medical Center. He was a member of Round Rock Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, dad and papaw who enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandkids. Preceded in death by parents Arlie Gibson, Audrey Gibson and brother Ricky Gibson.

Survivors: Wife of 42 years Anita Gibson of Caryville Son: Jason Gibson of Caryville Daughters: Sonya Gibson of Caryville, Tonya Bruce and husband Tommy of Jacksboro Grandkids: Kayla and Kelcy Gibson, Tristan, Bryson and Addison Bruce Brothers: Eddie Gibson of Virginia, Randall Gibson of Caryville, David and Robbie Gibson of Jacksboro Sister: Sue Hicks of Caryville Special nephew Chris Ward who was like a son. A host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.

Family will receive friends 5-7 PM Thursday at Cross-Smith Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet 10 AM, Friday Cross-Smith Funeral Home and proceed to Campbell Memorial Gardens for 11 AM Interment, Rev. David Burchfield officiating.
