Janet (Granny) Lasley Daugherty, age 73, of Caryville passed away Monday, August 16, 2021.  She was a member of Lake View Baptist Church, substitute teacher for Campbell County Schools for several years.  Preceded in death by parents: Willard and Virginia Alderman Lasley, husband: Alfred James Daugherty, Sr.

Survivors:

Daughters:  Anna and Jon Hargis, Judy Nelson, Jennifer and Donnie Smith and Hope and Jeff Herrin

Sons: Johnny and Mae Hawthorne, Alfred James (Jimmy) Daugherty, Jr and April.

24 grandchildren

22 great-grandchildren

Brothers: Ronnie Lasley, Kyle Lasley

Sister: Jane Petree, Sue Nelson

Special cousin: Judy Lasley Braun

Several nieces and nephews

Family will receive friends 5-7 PM Thursday, August 19 at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with the service to follow at 7 PM Cross-Smith Chapel, Rev. Luke Petree and Rev. Randy Nelson officiating.
