Mr. Jonathan Michael Spann 
age 29, our most beloved son, brother, family member, and friend passed away on August 11, 
2021 at the Marshall Medical Center North in Guntersville, Alabama.
 
Jon is survived by his parents, Phillip and Jennifer Spann, and his brother Luke Spann of Union, Grandparents Joseph A and Judy Spann and Garry and Bertha Vaughan of Grove, AL.

He leaves a loving family and many friends. Jon carried a light within him that touched the lives of those around him. He was the literal definition of an angel. Jon is remembered for his kind heart, witty sense of humor, and easygoing nature.  Jon never met a stranger and was loved by everybody. He was an active member of his congregation and in the church’s youth program. He loved to travel and had dreams of seeing the world. He loved his family more than anything. 

A Celebration of Life was held on Sunday, August 15, at 2:00 p.m. at Joppa Church of God. Burial: 2 p.m. Monday, August 16, 2021 in the Walden Cemetery (Hoot Owl Hollow) Jellico, Tennessee.
