OLIVER SPRINGS, TN (WLAF) – An ATV crash took the lives of a Caryville man and a Jacksboro woman on Thursday evening in Anderson County north of Oliver Springs near Windrock Mountain according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.

Just after 6pm Thursday is when the trooper details that 60-year old Gregory Knight of Caryville and 54-year old Sharon Douglas of Jacksboro died when the ATV they were riding left Highway 116 (New River Highway). The 2021 Honda Talon ATV side-by-side struck a standing tree killing both the driver and passenger based on the THP report.
