Donald G. Ayers

Age 81, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital in
Nashville, TN.  He was a native of Jellico, TN, retired from Detroit Carpenters, and of the Pentecostal Faith. 
His parents, Walter and Maudie Carroll Ayers, brother James Ayers, sisters Martha Ayers, Juanita Bray and Bessie White,
preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife, Eloise McClanahan Ayers of Lawrenceburg, TN; one son, Rusty Ayers of Lawrenceburg, TN;
one sister, Mae Silcox of Jellico, TN; brother-in-law Walter White of Riverview, MI and Dennis (Paulette) McClanahan of Nicholasville, KY; brother-in-law Jerry (Gail) McClanahan of North Adams, MI, three grandchildren, Philip Ayers, Ryan Ayers, Chandler Ayers and several nieces and nephews.

Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, TN, is handling arrangements.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Thursday, July 29, 2021, at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Thursday, July 29, 2021, with David Morgan officiating.  Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens.
