Two more members of the CCMS Fishing team headed to ‘World’

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – For short, the TBF (The Bass Federation) Junior World Championship is called “World.” And the World is where two more members of the Campbell County Middle School Fishing Team are headed.

CCMS Fishing Coach Mike King has two teams that have qualified for World. Mason Dople and Gabe St. John get to go and fish in the Junior World Championship in Illinois after winning the TBF two day fish off  in May. Also going to World is the team of Anthony and Ayden Malone, cousins. The Malones qualified in April after winning TBF’s Junior State Championship. Dople and St. John won state the previous two seasons giving the CCMS Fishing Team three-straight state titles.

Both teams begin practice ahead of the tournament on Monday on the Mississippi River. The run to a championship begins July 28 and wraps up on July 30 in Rapid City, Illinois. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 07/23/2021-6AM)
