LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – A shattered windshield sent a Jacksboro woman to jail last Friday. Campbell County Sheriff’s Deputy Preston Mullins noticed a white Infiniti SUV traveling west on the four lane in LaFollette with shattered and indented window to the point visibility was severely obstructed.

Mullins stopped the vehicle in the parking lot of Peoples Bank of the South, near the mall, and made contact with the driver of the vehicle, according to a report from the sherriff’s department. Mullins requested the drivers license, proof of insurance and proof of registration The driver, identified as Ruby Lynn Walton, told Mullins she did not have a proper license and that the vehicle did not have valid insurance. Walton advised Mullins that her last valid license was in the state of Ohio.
