LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – The Campbell County Lions Club held its regular meeting Monday evening at the First Presbyterian Church of La Follette.

The highlight of the meeting was a check presentation to Food Life Services. The club donated $250 to the local food bank that is located in the former East La Follette School building on the East Elm Street side.

Charlie Ruth delivered a very informative presentation about the Food Life Services Food Pantry, The center is open Tuesdays from 10am until 1pm. It services about 150 households compared to 240 just two years ago and operates with a volunteer staff of 12 people. “The state of the pantry is strong,” said Ruth.
