CARYVILLE, TN (WLAF) – For much of the month of June, the tennis courts at Cove Lake State Park were closed for refurbishment, and it’s been worth the wait.

“The courts look outstanding, and they will be able to accommodate our whole community,” said Campbell High Tennis Coach Josh Parker, coach of the district champs. Parker goes on to say, “I’m excited about those courts, and our discussions about our own courts on campus at CCHS.”

The 2021 Cougar Tennis team made school history. It became the first sport to finish a regular season undefeated. “It’s an exciting time for tennis in our community and our school,” said Parker, coach of the team that wrapped up a 10 & 0 regular season.
