JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – An eight year old Jacksboro boy sustained non-life threatening injuries after falling from a two story deck, according to Jacksboro Police Chief Jeremy Goins.

Around 8:16 p.m. on Thursday evening, Jacksboro Police officers were dispatched to a residence on Springfield Lane regarding an eight year old child that had fallen 20-feet from a deck. According to Goins, the child suffered non-life threatening injuries, but was flown to UT Medical Center “out of an abundance of caution.”

Jacksboro Police, Jacksboro Fire Department and Campbell County EMS all responded to the scene. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 06/25/2021-2PM)
