LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – There was no way for Campbell County Sheriff’s Deputy Shaneil Ayers to miss seeing Hollie Henderson. Henderson was standing in the middle of Long Hollow Road.

It was noon on Tuesday June 15, when Ayers was on routine patrol on Long Hollow Road and came across Henderson. Ayers said Henderson was trying to flag down passing cars. It was at Chadwell’s Market where the deputy noticed that Henderson was allegedly unsteady on her feet and making what appeared to be fast, uncontrolled movements with her arms and legs.

Ayers asked Henderson her name and she responded “My vehicle was unlawfully, unrightfully taken from me by the United States of America,” according to the report from the sheriff’s office. Henderson went on to tell the deputy that she was on her way to town.

When asked if she had taken anything recently, Henderson allegedly told her “I am under the influence of the light of creation.”

Henderson was placed under arrest for the 32nd time. This apprehension was for PI (public intoxication). The 46-year- old Henderson lists her employer as disabled in the arrest record. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 06/16/2021-6AM)
