Wlaf1450Robert “RL” Carr, age 72, of Jacksboro passed away June 15, 2021. He was a member of Morley Baptist Church.
R.L. was preceded in death by, parents Earl and Mae Carr; daughter, Gloria Carr Mullins; brothers Earl Carr Jr., J.T. Carr; Infant brother, David Carr; sisters, Beulah Voyles, Gloria Sue Marlow, and Shirley Cox.
He is survived by his children, Sandra Terry and husband Floyd of Jacksboro, Della Douglas and husband Bob of Ohio, Mary Shetterly and husband Rocky of Jacksboro; brothers, Martin Carr and wife Cecil of Morley, and Richard Carr and wife Mildred of Morley; sisters, Joyce Miller of Morley, Juanita Frank of Arizona, and Leshia Marlow and husband Buck of Morley; 21 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday June 18, 2021, at Morley Baptist Church. Interment to follow at the Morley Carr Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
