We go from oppressive to impressive where humidity is concerned

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Dewpoints have been at or closer to 70 degrees of late than 60 degrees, and we’ve all felt it.  Dewpoint is a way to measure the amount of moisture in the air, and the higher the dewpoint is, the muggier it is.

After this muggy Monday, we catch a break from the high humidity for the rest of the week.  Dewpoints will be in the 40s and 50s giving the air a pleasant feel while the sun is out and even a cool feel early and late in the days Tuesday through Friday. 

After today’s sunny, muggy day with a high near 90, expect mostly sunny days Tuesday through Friday with highs in the 70s and lows in the 50s.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 06/14/2021-6AM)
