LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – You’d be hard pressed to find someone in Campbell County who hasn’t crossed paths with Margaret Ayers. Mimi, as she’s affectionately known, turns 85-years young today.

Whether it was when she worked for the state employment office, campaigned for her husband J.P. and son Joe or helped with many local charitable events and organizations, you’ve likely met Mimi. In fact, her voice is often heard over WLAF promoting local events like this Saturday’s free lunch event coming to the La Follette Church of God.
