Wlaf1450Lois Faye Dilbeck Childress, age 66, of Jacksboro went to be with Jesus on Monday, June 7, 2021. She was saved at Pine Grove Baptist Church and a special lady to all she came in contact with. She was thankful for anything that was done for her, a simple lady that did not have much in life but never complained about her hardships and will be truly missed by her special friends. She is preceded in death by husband Henry Childress, parents: Julius Luther Dilbeck and Irene Reynolds, sister-in-law: Wanda Childress Dennison, brother-in-law: Michael Childress

Family will receive friends Thursday, 5-7 PM, at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with service following at 7 PM Cross-Smith Chapel, Rev. Ernest Andrew Miller, officiating. Family and friends will meet 10 AM Friday and proceed to Monday Cemetery in Speedwell for 11 AM interment.
