Tiki Hut, ready for summer fun, is WLAF’s business feature

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – The Tiki Hut at Deerfield Marina is the place to be for summer fun this year. The restaurant and bar is now open seven days a week, as of Memorial Day weekend and has a ton of summer events scheduled.

It’s the place to be for some of the”best BBQ and Bourbon on the lake.”

The business is owned by Joe and Emily Whited and Brian Costello. According to co-owner Joe Whited, this summer is going to be on fire with fun events, including a DJ every weekend till closing, as well as multiple live music events. The Tiki Hut has a fully stocked liquor bar and Whited does his own smoked BBQ on site.

“We’ve got lots of drink specials coming up for summer and the food is off the charts,” Whited said.    

The Tiki Hut is located at Deerfield Marina at 156 Launch Lane. It is in operation seven days a week from now until Labor Day.

One publication dubbed the Tiki Hut as the best floating bar in the state. It was said it’s “Where it always feels like you’re on summer vacation.”

The Hut is open Sunday through Wednesday from noon to 8 pm., with the kitchen open till 7. Thursday from noon till 10 pm., kitchen open till 9pm are the hours. The Tiki Hut is open Friday and Saturday from noon to 11 pm., with the kitchen open till 9 pm.
