DUFF, TN (WLAF) – A man with felony warrants was unsuccessful in his attempt to flee. On May 17, Campbell County Sheriff’s Deputy Christopher West was on Hwy 90 in Duff when he noticed Scott Marlow in the passenger seat of a brown Honda van. West was familiar with Marlow from past experiences in which Marlow had attempted to evade and knew he had more than one felony warrant, according to a report from the sheriff’s department.

While West was attempting to pull the van over, Marlow got out of the vehicle before it was stopped. West got out his cruiser yelling for Marlow to stop, but Marlow continued to evade on foot. After following Marlow for approximately a mile on foot West was able to apprehend Marlow.

Kevin Scott Marlow, 34, Jacksboro was charged with two counts evading arrest, two counts stop frisk halt search, disorderly conduct, aggravated assault by domestic violence, two counts felony evading arrest, reckless driving, driving while suspended and other. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 05/28/2021-6AM)
