After Lloyd’s seven month battle with COVID-19, he’s back in church

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – After being away from his church family since October, Zach Lloyd returned yesterday for his first visit with friends and family at East La Follette Baptist Church.

Zach expressed a heartfelt thank you for all the prayers that were said for him and his family during the past seven months.

Not yet ready to return to the pulpit full time, he has made incredible steps in his recovery. He spoke about his wife Sara providing him with pictures of his family and a picture of his church family gathered as his prayer warrior. “These were things that helped keep him moving forward,” he said.

Sunday was just another step forward as his church family showered him with love.  As Zach stated “it’s one day at a time.”  He wanted to say thank you to all those everywhere that remembered him and his family.
