La Follette Police say this woman, Crystal King, being interviewed by La Follette Police Detective-Sergeant Matthew Forsyth, was selling drugs out of the bedroom window below.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Four people went to jail the last time the La Follette Police Department’s Narcotics Unit and Special Response Team were in action executing a narcotics search warrant at 1117 West Central Avenue. LPD units and officers were back at the home that sits at the corner of West Central Avenue and 25th Street this morning just after 6am executing another narcotics search warrant. Related story.

Six people were inside the home when officers arrived around 6am Friday.

“There are six people in the house, and our main target is 41-year old Crystal King of La Follette. Our undercover agents have made several methamphetamine buys out of this house,” said LPD Captain Steve Wallen. Wallen noted that when he and officers were at this house in March, meth and heroin were being sold. “We discovered meth as soon as we walked into the home this morning,” said Wallen. “In addition to the meth, we later found heroin,” said Detective-Sergeant Matthew Forsyth.

Members of the LPD Narcotics Unit and Special Response Team were out before sun up on Friday.

In addition to King, those inside the home on Friday morning were 26-year old Thomas Crowe, 33-year old Stephen Todd, 25-year old Blake Elkins, 39-year old Jess Miller and 63-year old Teresa Reeds. Crowe, King and Miller were arrested at this residence on March 23.

LPD officers made a wake up call Friday morning for six people. Crystal Marie King, white T-shirt, was the main target of the investigation.

Arrested today were King for the resale of schedule I heroin, Elkins for possession of schedule II and a violation of probation warrant, Crowe for the resale of schedule II meth and Miller faces charges of the resale of schedule I and schedule II along with a capias/bench warrant.

Police say tips and complaints initially led them to this home in March.

  1. Thank God some of these people have walked by my very home near by an even completely out of their minds!!! Please do something about the house right up the road where North 17th st meets the church road they are crazy up there as well.. so thankful for narcotics team

  2. Not your typical Yard sale. If it’s not on the porch ask thru the window. How many times does it take. Please stop this contamination for good.
