LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Just before Tuesday morning’s sunrise, the La Follette Police Department’s Narcotics Unit and Special Response Team were in action executing a narcotics search warrant at an East La Follette home.
“Floyd Eugene Walden is our main target here this morning. We’ve (LPD undercover agents) bought schedule II and IV (drugs) at this home for the past little bit,” said LPD Captain Steve Wallen. The Captain went on to say that there were three other people inside the home at the time of the raid and schedule II, IV, VI and III drugs had already been located. LPD Staff Sergeant Charles Duff added that meth, marijuana, oxycodone, xanax and suboxone had also been located in the residence.
Jail records reveal that the 55-year old Walden has been booked through the Campbell County Jail six times.
“We arrested Floyd Eugene Walden and Kathy Woodson on drug charges,” said La Follette Police Detective-Sergeant Matthew Forsyth. Walden was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and schedule II, III IV and VI for resale while 60-year old Kathy Woodson of Hill Street faces possession charges of schedule II and VI.
