WHITE OAK, TN (WLAF) – A car with a non-working light was pulled over last Monday on the grounds of White Oak School. Campbell County Sheriff’s Deputy Christopher West noticed the bad light on the 1999 blue Ford Expedition while on routine patrol on White Oak Road.

The driver of the SUV identified herself as Shonda Davis, and when West checked Davis’ warrant status, he discovered that Davis, of La Follette, was wanted out of Sevier County.

Inside the car, West allegedly found a crystal-like substance in clear bags, according to the report from the sheriff’s office. In that same report, it was noted that West found five glass pipes.

West arrested the 29-year-old Davis for possession of a schedule II controlled substance and drug paraphernalia in addition to a hold for Sevier County. Davis has a court date set for May 17 in Campbell County. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 05/11/2021-6AM)
