DUFF, TN (WLAF) – The passenger side headlight on Alyssa Morgan Duffield’s black Chevy Colorado was allegedly out prompting Campbell County Sheriff’s Deputy Preston Mullins to make a traffic stop.

Duffield told Mullins that her window would not roll down so she opened the door. That’s when Mullins smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from the pick-up truck. The deputy saw that Duffield’s pupils were dilated and non-reactive to the light shining from Mullins’ flashlight.

A field sobriety test was administered, and Duffield’s results prompted Mullins to place her under arrest for DUI (driving under the influence) and violation of the light law. Duffield agreed to a blood draw upon arrival to the Campbell County Jail. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 05/06/2021-6AM)
