DUFF, TN (WLAF) – During the process of serving an active warrant on a woman at her Highway 25W home, Campbell County Sheriff’s Deputy Preston Mullins allegedly interrupted her suspected drug activity.

When Mullins arrived at the home very early on Saturday morning, he was looking for Crystal King. According to the report, he found a woman sitting in the floor of the residence with what appeared to be a cloth altered as a tourniquet wrapped around her left arm. In front of her was a spoon with a pink substance in it which was allegedly identified by King as Suboxone.

The woman initially identified herself as Michelle Amanda Lyke and gave her birthdate as 11/30/1981. Mullins asked her to identify herself again. This time Mullins said she said her name was Crystal Amanda King and a birthdate of 11/30/1983.

Mullins arrested the 38-year- old King and charged her with criminal impersonation, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and violation of probation out of criminal court. King remains housed in the Campbell County Jail this morning with a court date set for June 3. Based on jail records, this was King’s seventh arrest. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 05/05/2021-AM)
