James (Ed) Phillips, age 80, of LaFollette passed away on Saturday, May 1, 2021. He was retired from truck driving and excavating and loved operating machinery and farming. He was member of High Knob Baptist Church. Preceded in death by father: Clarence Phillips, mother: Naomi Hatmaker Summers, step-father: Ernest Summers.

Daughter: Michele and husband Mike Loudin, Christi and Timmy Sharp

Sons: Steven and wife Tabatha Phillips

Grandchildren: Ethan Phillips, Cole Phillips, Addison Sharp, Ashley and Taylor Travis.

Great-grandson: Barrett Travis

Family will receive friends 5-7 PM Wednesday at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with Funeral to follow at 7 PM with Rev. Dewayne Byrd Officiating. Family and friends will meet 10 AM Thursday at Cross-Smith Funeral Home and proceed to Bakers Forge Cemetery for a 11 AM Interment with Military Honors by the Campbell County Honor Guard.
