WLAF Radio’s on-air sweetheart also swings a pretty mean bat

Bailey Ball grabs her bat and is ready to head to the on deck circle. She is the team’s pitcher and hits third in the order.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – In addition to being on the radio everyday on WLAF AM & FM, Bailey Ball has also taken up softball. The Valley View Elementary student and WLAF Sweetheart along with her Lady Bandits took on Froggie’s Tuesday evening at Pine Park.

The visor comes off as the batting helmet goes on.

While McKena Kibler bats, Bailey Ball takes warm up swings.

Bailey Ball bats third in the order and takes her first at bat Tuesday against Froggie’s.

Bailey got a hold of this one though it went foul for her about half-way down the base path.

Bailey did get a hit though Froggie’s won what was a rather intense game, 10 to 6. A four-run inning did the Bandits in. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 04/28/2021-6AM)
