LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – After a hiatus in 2020, Campbell County Shows Off is preparing for its 2021 event coming to downtown La Follette in June.

Organizer Sharon Chapman is thrilled there will be a second Campbell County Shows Off after the first gathering of talent and onlookers in 2019. Chapman said musicians, bands, individual artists (aside from music) will take to the downtown La Follette stage beginning at 10:15 am Saturday, June 5.

Jewell and Scott Whitaker performed in 2019.

The event will be held in the parking lot behind the police station. It runs from 10 am until the final performance finishes at 9 pm. WLAF’s Charlie Hutson shares his photos of the 2019 performances HERE.

Vendors are welcome to set up for a $25 fee. Vendors are encouraged to register in advance and pay on the day of the event. These vendors will also “show off” their talent whether it be baked goods, wooden furniture, crafts, just about anything they want to display, according to Chapman. All businesses, organizations and non-profit are encouraged to set up.

In June 2019, the Midnight Ramblers showcased their talents.

“This year MC1 Nashville will have several signed artists performing on stage and then hold a meet and greet. MC1 Senoir Vice-President Anita Stanley Cox will be on hand to answer any questions regarding the music industry and entrance through their agency,” said Chapman.

There will be special surprises in addition to motorcycles and vintage cars on display. It’s Chapman’s hope that this event will again shine a positive light on the community.

Dustin Ford and Josh McDowell came out for the first Campbell County Shows Off in 2019.
