Mr. P. L. Watson, age 85 of LaFollette passed away, Monday, April 19, 2021.   P. L. was a U.S. Army Veteran serving as a SP4, Airborne Division, and was of the Baptist Faith.  He was employed for many years with Shelby’s Warehouse and a driver for Shelby’s “Rolling Store”.  Preceded in death by Wife, Mary Lucille Paul Watson, Daughter-in-Law, Kathy Watson, Mother, Myrtle Armstrong, Brothers, Clay Houston Watson and Curlie Watson, Sisters, Cornie Goins and Dorothy Kaiser.    

Survivors:  Children, David Watson, Greg Watson and wife, Peggy, and Janet Phillips and husband, Danny; Four Grandchildren; Five Great-Grandchildren; Sisters, Judy Sullivan, Sue Ridenour and husband, Roger, and Bonnie Maxwell; Brother-in-Law, Kenneth Ray Paul and wife, Pat; Former Daughter-in-Law, Marlene Wright. Several Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends.    

Funeral Services Thursday, April 22, 2021, 8:00 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Russell officiating.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. before funeral services.  Family and Friends will meet Friday, April 23,2021, 10:30 A.M. at Walters Funeral Home and proceed to Glade Springs Cemetery for a 11:00 A.M.
