JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – During the month of April, all involved with the Campbell County Christian Learning Center are expressing their appreciation to those who support the center.

“We deeply appreciate the support of businesses and community members who believe in the mission of the CLC. Every school day, CCHS students have the opportunity to dive into Scripture from an academic perspective –exercising their historical and literary skills — while simultaneously exploring its personal impact on their lives,” said Stephanie Lloyd. Lloyd is a teacher and the program director for the CLC.

Today, the Campbell County Christian Learning Center is showcasing donors C & L Furniture, Phillip Jones Wealth Management and Peoples Bank of the South.

“I’m honored to be part of this ministry which benefits the future of Campbell County. My prayer is that our students would continually pursue a thoughtful understanding of the Bible and would draw nearer to Jesus as a result,” added Lloyd.

The Campbell County Christian Learning Center’s mission is that it exists to provide biblical instruction to students as an opportunity to encourage them to embrace the Gospel of Jesus Christ, grow in the Christian faith, and apply biblical principles for living.

Released Time Bible Education (RTBE) is a unique program whereby students may leave school to attend off-campus Bible classes during the school day. Hillcrest Baptist Church, which is next to Campbell County High School voted unanimously to allow its facilities to be the location for The Campbell County Christian Learning Center.
