JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – Classes at the Campbell County Christian Learning Center are taught on the Hillcrest Baptist Church campus which is next door to Campbell County High School.  Released-Time is a time during the school day when students are released from school to study the Bible at an off-campus location.

Madison, a 10th grader, said “My favorite thing about the class this year is that I’ve gotten to get closer with a lot of the people in here. I already knew of them, but now I’ve gotten a chance to get closer with them.”

The Campbell County Christian Center’s mission is that it exists to provide biblical instruction to students as an opportunity to encourage them to embrace the Gospel of Jesus Christ, grow in the Christian faith, and apply biblical principles for living.

“My favorite memory from this semester was doing the green screen project or when we were trying to play volleyball while reciting the memory verses,” said Madison, 10th grade

All through April, the CCCLC is saluting all those who support its efforts through donations.  Today, a special “thank you” goes out to Evans Law, Lindsay’s Carpet & Paint Center, Parson’s Corner and United Cumberland Bank.
