JELLICO, TN (WLAF) – For 28-year- old Tasha Nicole Jones, a wreck between her vehicle and another vehicle was only the beginning of her legal woes. Saturday just before 3pm on High Cliff Road Jones collided with the other vehicle.

When Campbell County Sheriff’s Deputy Joel Boyer asked Jones to see her driver’s license, she told him that her license was revoked. Central dispatch confirmed Jones license revocation.

Boyer noticed a small child with Jones and asked her where the child was when the wreck happened. Jones said the three- year- old was in the front passenger seat with a seat belt on at the time of the accident, and that her child restraint seat was in the back seat, according to Boyer’s report.

Upon further investigation, Boyer learned that Jones had local warrants in Campbell County.

Jones, of East Davis Lane, Jellico, was placed under arrest and charged with driving while revoked, child restraint law and violation of probation out of General Sessions Court. Jones was released on a $500 bond is scheduled to appear in court on May 11. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 04/06/2021-6AM)
