April is donor appreciation month for Christian Learning Center

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – April is a month set aside to celebrate all those donors who support the Campbell County Christian Learning Center.

Those showcased today are Double S Bookkeeping, JR’s Tires and Wender Furniture.

The CCCLC provides biblical instruction next to the Campbell County High School on the Hillcrest Baptist Church campus.  “I like the class. It feels very natural in that it’s very welcoming and that we get to talk about the Bible. One thing that has interested me most this semester is how Jesus wanted to be baptized.” -Daniel, 11^th grade-CCCLC Student

The Campbell County Christian Learning Center’s mission is that it exists to provide biblical instruction to students as an opportunity to encourage them to embrace the Gospel of Jesus Christ, grow in the Christian faith, and apply biblical principles for living.

Released Time Bible Education (RTBE) is a unique program whereby students may leave school to attend off-campus Bible classes during the school day. Hillcrest Baptist Church, which is next to Campbell County High School voted unanimously to allow its facilities to be the location for The Campbell County Christian Learning Center.
