LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – WLAF TRAFFIC: Highway 25W between LaFollette and Jellico and Highway 297 through Elk Valley are impassible.

WLAF SCHOOL NEWS: There is NO school on Monday due to flooding and treacherous conditions. All school personnel scheduled to receive their COVID-19 vaccine on Monday, March 29, 2021, will be able to receive their vaccine at Terry’s Pharmacy in Jacksboro Monday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Tuesday, March 30, 2021 will remain a virtual day for those schools.

WLAF WEATHER: FLOOD WARNING until 10 pm Sunday with the FLASH FLOOD WATCH until 8 pm Sunday. Clouds, sun and breezes finish our Sunday. As the rain moves out, cooler air moves in through the day eventually sending temperatures down to 35-degrees Sunday night. Monday opens with patchy frost ahead of sun and a high of 62.
