CARYVILLE, TN (WLAF) – Officials with the Campbell County Sheriff’s Department announced Friday night that the body of a missing Campbell County man has been located.

Ryan McKamey was last seen by a family friend on March 16 and was reported missing three days later. The body of the 26-year old man was found Friday in the Shady Cove area of Caryville by searchers with the La Follette Rescue Squad.

Campbell County Sheriff Robbie Goins notes that the investigation remains open. Foul play is not suspected.

“The McKamey family has been involved and helpful from the onset of our search, and we are deeply saddened for their loss,” said Sheriff Goins.
