LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – On the heels of Monday’s pick-up versus car injury wreck came another Thursday afternoon.

At the Fazoli’s/Dossett Road stop light, a car and a pick-up truck rammed into each other just after 2:30 pm this afternoon on the four lane. One person was injured, the road was cluttered with lumber and engine fluids all the while Jacksboro-bound traffic was backed up past the CVS.

A multitude of emergency personnel responded to the wreck scene.

First Responders were bracing for the worst as they sped to the wreck scene. La Follette, Fire, Police and Street Departments responded along with the Campbell County EMS.

Lumber was picked up and placed in the back of the Ford F-150 pick-up truck.

The lumber was all picked up and placed back in the pick-up truck before it was loaded onto the flat bed wrecker. The La Follette Street Department had its arrow sign in place directing westbound traffic into the right lane past the wreck and then spread sand over where fluids leaked from the truck.

On a back and forth, rain and sun March afternoon, the sun was actually shining when the wreck happened. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 03/18/2021-4PM)
