Dorothy Westmoreland Morgan, age 68, of La Follette, TN, died unexpectedly on Thursday, March 11, 2021. She was born on October 20, 1952 in Chattanooga, TN. Dorothy was a bright and shining light who brought joy to all those around her. She was a 1970 graduate of Kirkman High School in Chattanooga and a 2012 graduate of Roane State Community College where she studied Early Childhood Education. Dorothy loved working with the children in the Campbell County school system. She loved spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, doing Zumba and travelling. Dorothy touched the lives of all those she met and will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Dorothy was preceded in death by her father, Charles R. Westmoreland; mother, Anna June Westmoreland Chism and brother, Bill Westmoreland.

She is survived by her husband, Chuck Morgan; her daughters, Sonica (Nathan) Gibbs, Misty (Nate) Withrow, Cheri (Bill) Greenway; grandchildren, Zoe, Leah, Jacob, Caleb, Easton, Christopher Charles, Caroline Elizabeth, Sara Catherine; sisters, Vivian (Charles) Gray, Tresha (Robert) Payne, Donna Sue (Donald) McFarland; brother, Terry ( Gayle) Westmoreland and many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all who knew her!
