LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Mount Cammerer District-Campbell County Boy Scouts of America is hosting an archery and climbing youth fun event right now.

This event is free and open to all eligible age children. It’s for Cub Scouts of boys and girls in grades K-5 along with Scouts BSA is for young men and women ages 11-18 and Venturing and Sea Scouts for young men and women ages 14-20.

BSA Troup 310 Scoutmaster Chris Thacker notes that the event continues getting a little bigger. “La Follette Police Detective Charles Duff, and Campbell County Rural Fire Service Assistant Chief Daniel Lawson plan to be a part of the fun and educational day. Delicious food will be served up by Fat Lady’s BBQ,” said Thacker.

This event is open to scout eligible males and females.

It’s set for Sat., Mar. 20, at Cedar Hill Baptist Church at 636 Demory Road. The hours are from 11 am until 2 pm.
