A student was injured Wednesday afternoon from a fall at Campbell High.

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – Campbell County High School was placed on medical lockdown just after 1 pm on Wednesday afternoon.

A First Responder tells WLAF News that a student suffered a seizure and then fell injuring himself. One First Responder noted that the young man was suffering from a head injury.

A medical helicopter landed on Wednesday afternoon in the field in front of Campbell County High School.

A medical helicopter landed on the field in front of the high school preparing to fly the patient to a Knoxville hospital. When WLAF News left the scene, the patient was sitting up on a stretcher and talking.

The La Follette Fire Department, Campbell County Sheriff’s Department and the Campbell County EMS responded to the scene. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 02/03/2021-2PM)
