Jimmy Darrell Taylor, age 67 of LaFollette, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 25, 2021. He was born on August 27, 1953 to the late William George Taylor and Mary Etta (Vanover) Taylor. Jimmy enjoyed fishing, collecting oil lamps, and wrestling. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and his granddaughter.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son Joshua Taylor; brothers Carl Taylor, Kenneth Taylor, and George Taylor Jr; and sisters Claudette England, Susie Taylor, and Bonnie Taylor.

He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years Virgina Taylor of LaFollette; son Travis Taylor and wife Angelia of LaFollette; granddaughter Maci Taylor; brother Walter Taylor and wife Jo of LaFollette; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 PM on Thursday, January 28, 2021 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Cotton Pittman officiating. Interment will follow funeral service at Peabody Cemetery.
