Raymond Oakes, age 82, of Caryville passed away on Saturday January 23, 2021. He was retired from the Campbell County School system after 25 years of service. He was a member of Carroll Hollow Baptist Church in Clinton TN. Preceded in death by parents: Jasper and Ruby Fields Oakes, sisters: Shelbey Jean Periful, Mary Lou Marlow, brothers: Tommy Oakes, Fred Oakes, Charles Oakes, Clifford Oakes and Eugene Oakes

Due to Covid-19 a graveside service will be held at 11 AM Tuesday at Harness Cemetery in Caryville Rev David Crow officiating. Friends may come by Cross-Smith Funeral Home 1 PM – 6 PM Monday January 25, 2021.
