TOP PHOTO: Howard St. John was a United States Air Force veteran serving from 1961-1969 advancing to Staff Sergeant, Communications Center Supervisor in charge of safeguarding classified information. 

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Friends and family of Howard St. John will pay their respects later today at the La Follette Church of God. St. John passed away Tuesday morning.

Receiving of friends is from 11 am until 1 pm with the funeral service at 1 pm. The interment follows at Sunrise Cemetery.

A scholarship fund in St. John’s name has been established. His family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the Howard St. John Memorial Scholarship Fund to benefit a Campbell County High School Athlete..   1. Howard and I played golf and basketball together – I never beat him at either. He was a great athlete and a great guy. We laughed about politics and work. I thought a lot of him and will never forget him.
