TOP PHOTO: One man was arrested on drug related charges at this La Follette home last Wednesday.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – A confidential tip led to a search warrant and drug arrest of a LaFollette man on Wed. 

According to a Campbell County Sheriff’s Office press release, the sheriff’s department executed a narcotics search warrant at the home of David Lee Teague, 45, at 328 Camp Ridge Rd in La Follette. The search warrant executed at this residence was obtained following a confidential tip which sparked an investigation on Teague. During the operation, investigators made multiple buys of Schedule II controlled substances, believed to be Methamphetamine, from the home.

Investigators with the CCSO raided this Camp Ridge Road home.

During the raid, investigators located narcotics including a Schedule II controlled substance, though to be Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Teague was arrested on scene and charged with possession of a Schedule II controlled substance for resale and possession of drug paraphernalia. He remains in the Campbell County Jail this morning with a $70,000 bond.

A court date of January 21, 2021, is scheduled for Teague. Based on jail records, this was Teague’s 11th booking into the county jail. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED 01/18/2021-6AM)
