JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – Charles H. Turner, MPA, the County Director Health for the Anderson/ Campbell County Health Departments, has provided information about online COVID-19 Vaccine appointments.

“To better serve you, we have implemented a statewide appointment management system. Please use this link to join an online waiting list for the COVID-19 Vaccine,” said Turner.

WLAF has received quite a bit of response by email and telephone about the process. Yes, it is not easy to get through on the phone line. However, it is in working order, and trying again and having your patience along are the best bets. The online appointment setting seems to be the most efficient way to set your appointment for your vaccine.

For those of you who have received your first of two shots, you were given a card in your paperwork that includes the day and date for your second shot. Although there is no time listed on the card. Turner said, “We will be contacting you to set an appointment, and we ask you for your patience.”

      Check your paperwork. There should be a card with it that has your return date on it.

  1. I received the Moderna first vaccine on 1/2/21. My card from CCHD indicates I am due for vaccine second shot on 1/30/21. Please schedule and notify me appointment time on 1/30/21 as there is no time scheduled on the card I received when I was there on 1/2/21. Thanks!

  2. Jim, I’ve been trying the 865-549-5343 for several days and, at least, six times starting at 8:01 a.m. this morning and all you get is the recording and to try back later, so , in my opinion, it’s a waste of time calling the above number.
